Every question we get asked.
If we missed one, support@tryanswr.com — a human reads every message.
The product
How calls, scheduling, and memory actually work.
A traditional call center costs $285–$800/mo and is only staffed during business hours. Answr is $59/mo, works 24/7, integrates with your calendar, and sounds like your receptionist, not someone reading a script.
Answr is trained on your services, pricing, FAQ, and hours during a 10-minute onboarding. For anything outside that, it politely offers to take a message and flags the call for your review in the dashboard.
Yes. Each industry template ships with urgency triggers — e.g. plumbing 'burst pipe' keywords escalate to an owner transfer or priority slot. You can add your own triggers in the flow builder.
Answr never pretends to be human. If asked directly, it says 'I'm the business's automated assistant — I can book you in and a real person can follow up if needed.' Full disclosure keeps you on the right side of TCPA.
About 10 minutes. Pick your industry, confirm services + pricing + hours, connect your calendar, forward your business line. Every step is skippable if you want to tweak it later.
You pick from a curated set of realistic voices during onboarding. In v1.5 you'll be able to clone your own voice (ElevenLabs) so every call sounds like you.
Not at MVP — custom voice cloning ships in v1.5. Until then, the preset library has voices that consistently pass for human in our blind tests.
Calls route through Twilio and Retell over cellular-grade telephony — your internet isn't in the path. If those providers ever have an outage, Answr automatically falls back to a voicemail that captures the caller's number for you.
Every appointment triggers an SMS confirmation to the caller within 10 seconds. Your dashboard shows the full transcript. If something looks off, you cancel from the dashboard and the caller gets a polite 'reply R to reschedule' text.
Not yet. Spanish-language call handling is on the v2 roadmap (Months 6–12). If you need it sooner, let us know on the Enterprise form and we'll prioritize.
Integrations
Calendars and tools Answr plugs into.
All four, at MVP. Connect one during onboarding. Appointments land in the calendar within 5 seconds of being confirmed on the call.
Pricing & plans
How billing works, fair-use, and overages.
No. Monthly plans cancel anytime. Annual plans save you two months — the only commitment is that you prepay the year.
Only time spent in active conversation. No charges for unanswered rings, busy signals, or connect setup. Minutes are rounded up to the nearest second, so a 4-second call costs you 4 seconds.
Nothing dramatic. We email you at 75% and 90%. At 100% you pick: upgrade tier or pay-per-minute overage. No surprise charges — overage never posts without your explicit OK.
Privacy & compliance
Recordings, consent, data retention.
Every call opens with a recording disclosure: 'This call may be recorded for quality purposes.' That satisfies the 11 two-party-consent states — no per-state logic needed. Recordings are encrypted at rest and deleted per your plan's retention policy.
Answer every call. Book every appointment. Starting at $59/mo.
14-day free trial. No credit card. Setup in 10 minutes. Call the demo number before you decide.
